I'm F*cking Ben Affleck Video
I just found out that there is a response to Sarah Silverman's "I'm F*cking Matt Damon" video. hehehe.
I like this video better. It's like an all-star performance just like of the "We are the World hehehe. I laughed hard when they all started singing. It's very hilarious! You can see Jimmy and Ben giving each other pedicures hahaha.
The round ups for the back up singers are Don Cheadle, Robin Williams, Ashlee Simpson, Huey Lewis, Christina Applegate, Cameron Diaz, Joan Jett, Macy Gray, Benji and Joel Madden (Simple Plan), Lance Bass, and Josh Groban. Brad Pitt is also in the video - he's the delivery man who brings a cake to Jimmy and Ben. Harrison Ford is in the video too.. blowing a kiss to the both of them, lol.
"This is not man crush" - Robin Williams :D
I'm F*cking Ben Affleck
I wish I could write more. But I'm going to bed.

A Critic is Not a Critic at All
Lately, my life has been busy.. over busy with work. I don't even have time to go out on a date with my boyfriend. I haven't really been able to blog about anything of importance. As you can see, I don't update my blog as often as I did before.
I heard this yesterday, a bad day to hear this - since i got no sleep and was in such cramps.
Apparently, someone has been spreading rumors that I am pregnant.
Apparently, someone has been texting my boyfriend's mom that he got me pregnant.
Don't get me wrong, I am not pissed that this person (or whoever that is) seem to be getting some kind of "rise" by spreading rumors that I am pregnant. I just wish that if this chism-monger is spreading this rumor.. he/she better talk or ask me personally. I would be happy to answer all the questions.
To someone: Shame on you...hiding from a number just to fish for attention. Let me save you from your poor, pathetic imagination. I'm ultimately flattered. Thank You!

My Weekend Was Fairly Chill
well.. I have been bored today, but everything is going great. Hmm.. it's maybe because I didn't get enough sleep. *yawns*
My weekend consisted of:
Friday
- spent a lot of quality time with Hectril
- went to work at 11pm
Saturday
- Dropped Hectril off to the airport for his Baguio City trip.
- then I went to the mall and shop for myself
- went home, slept for 4 hours and went to work
Sunday
- mom and my sister picked me up from work
- shopping!!
- sleep
Basically, I hate my weekend! I always wanted to have my day offs on the weekends! Argh.
I wish I could say more, but there is nothing to say... except I should be sleeping. *yawns*.

I Speak My Mind
I'm not sure if it is significant enough to misinterpret me or not, but at this point I really don't care.
My blog is supposed to be about the empowerment of myself and all there is and giving myself and you all a chance to speak your minds, but there's one visitor who just left a comment who makes me feel like I'm not allowed to do that hahhaha, at least not when it comes to commenting on other people's blogs. Everyone is so obnoxiously sweet to each other in their comments sometimes and it makes me sick. Do I have any qualms with anybody else that would make me even WANT to say something mean to them? No, not at all. But sometimes I'd like to just shoot the shit and not get my ass reamed for it. Sometimes I'd like to be my normal, sarcastic self and make jokes openly on my blog and other people's blogs that not everyone might understand. I am not a malicious person, far from it, and I absolutely adore every unique visitor on my blog. I love people, and visitors on my blog in general. That's why I wanted to become apart of the World Wide Web, because I thought it was beautiful.
But I'm not sugar-coated all the time. Sometimes I like to pick fun at things, sometimes I write something positive and just type type type, and sometimes I write about bad negative stuffs too. It really depends on what I see, hear, experienced and observed. I put them all into writing. And that is what I consider to be a light-hearted manner, and it makes me think hard when other people don't understand it hehehe. Or maybe because they are not understanding at all. I can't signify that I'm joking, or serious, angry or sad or happy so well in writing...it's the way I speak that suggests that I'm emotional.
Let me tell you all..I can write anything outloud on here, and I don't know how many smilies or "ha ha ha's" I have to add to what I say to get it into people's heads that I just want to express what I feel on here. Geez!
Anyway, I'm not going to go into details about what I said, or who I said it to, or how many people had a problem with it...I just want to say, THIS IS MY BLOG. And i don't care if some of you will take it in the wrong way and I'll just act sweet as syrup or sour as a vinegar at times. I will continue doing this on the net.
~end of rant~

The Act of Kindness
After my shift, my desire for coffee struck me hard like a mallet against a steamed potato. so I asked my supervisor if I can get myself a coffee before we start the meeting for our team. Since my supervisor is also a coffee-holic like me she asked me to get her a large coffee with cream only since I was going to Figaro (they have great coffee). I was well on the counter and my order for coffee with cream and mocha java was punched in the machine, and the guy advised me for the total of P170. I checked my pockets and realized I didn't have any cash on me aside from the P80 my supervisor gave me, and that I only have my cellphone pouch with 2 peso coins and 2 cellphones in it. I laughed and explained from the cashier that I left my money at the office, and I have to go back and get my money, since our office is on the 3rd floor, and Figaro is on the 2rd floor only. The cashier was ok with that and I just left my name though.
When I was writing down my name, a man standing behind asked me what I wanted. I told him I ordered two coffees. He offered to pay them for me.
I declined, of course, thinking that it was some ploy for him to try to get my number or set up a date with me (it is possible because I'm pretty hahaha), but he told me that he wanted to perform a random act of kindness and that it would be his treat. Finally I agreed, he payed for the coffees and he gave the cashier the exact amount.
He said, "may pangayuon lang ko sa imo isa lng ka butang" [English trans: One thing I want to ask from you though]" .. and at the back of my head..i thought, "oh great, here it comes, he's going to ask me for my number or something...or worse. But instead, he said, "ibalik mo lng ang favor sa iban nga tawo para patas na ta." [English trans: "Now you have to do a random act of kindness for someone else to get even with me." I was really blown away by that.
I took my 2 peso coin from my pouch and put it in the Bantay Bata can at the counter.
Before going home, I stopped in Chowking, (Molo branch) to buy something, when a disabled old man was standing by the door and asked if I could spare any change so he could get something to eat. I handed him the P50 I had in my pocket and smiled. He said thank you and turned his back. That made me feel better about the good side of human nature.
It's not often that people give favors to complete strangers and want nothing in return except to pass the torch of kindness onto someone else. I know, that sounds really cheesy, but it's the best way I could think to describe it.

Reasons Why Batman is My Favorite Superhero
And from that.. I'd like to compare my favorite superhero from one man. Of course you will never guess who my favorite superhero is. And so it is Batman.
This man is know is the devil, and his people had fall prey to him. Clearly, this man in real life has all the girls he likes, has money. He deals with in part by attempting to master his self only.. his own strategy on how to take control over other people's lives and change their perceptions and how they see things. This man is not often very serious..even with his life, he's not even focused. and you know what.. he always seek to have a plan in place with his illegalities to deal with whatever comes up. This man is so lucky as his roots are known to be powerful. Unfortunately, he has grown up to be a loser.
Reasons why I like Batman:
And you know what I like about Batman? He is not rich. Bruce Wayne is rich. In his real life he was a bad ass too, he didn't settle for less. A lot of super hero's were losers in their real life, not Bruce Wayne -he got all the girls, had money, and didn't take smack from no one. He may not have super powers, but he's smarter and he is a pain to catch.
I like Batman because he has embraced something that he fears as his identity in order to help him conquer that fear...it reminds me that we all have our demons and we don't always like to admit that we have them, but sometimes it's better to bring them to the forefront of our minds rather than to hide them. It helps us cope.
Plus his costume is cool. It doesn't look so gay he he he. Bats in general are cool creatures. And hands down, Batman has the best array of villains of any comic hero. Hardcore enough to kick Superman's ass!
Ok, enough said.. I'm outta here.
P.S.
The Dark Knight is a great movie. Hec and I watched it last month, that was July 28th.. i think. anyway, read his review about the movie. The Dark Knight and It's Villains.

Iloilo City Musical
Sometimes when I'm walking through the street and feeling like the whole city is miserable, I'll imagine that people passing by me in the street are all singing and dancing in unison, especially if I pass by someone playing a guitar in the street or a group of teenagers with their drum boxes. I guess it would be cool if everybody forgot the hustle and bustle of their daily lives just for a few minutes and would cast their inhibitions aside and sing and dance with complete strangers just for the Hell of it. And it would be like.. hmm.. "Iloilo City Musical". Hahaha! But I'm sure that will never happen. Tee hee! :P

Max's Restaurant: Bad Service
By the time we arrived, only a few tables were occupied.. so that means it was not crowded/full packed yet. So we ordered one Budget Meal and one Chicken Barbeque Combo Meal, and the waiter informed us that it would take 15 minutes for our order to be served. So we were ok with that. A few minutes later, our iced tea and Pepsi was served. Ok, so that's fast, since they already have prepared for that. A few more minutes later, I noticed that we have been waiting for almost 40 minutes and our order was not yet served. At that point, I started to get disappointed for the long wait. I was about to stand up and ask for a follow up with one of the waiters but Hec stopped me, and told me to wait a few minutes more. And at that, Hec already got an iced tea refilled for the 3rd time. I knew he was pissed, so I suggested that we should leave the resto.
We called up one waiter and informed him that we are canceling our orders. But he insisted that they are about to serve them. But no, we could not wait for a single moment.. and how could we eat better and appreciate the food when we are both pissed off and disappointed with the service? What really got into my nerves was that some customers who came in 25 or 30 minutes after us were served within 10-15 minutes by the time they have ordered their meals.
And so, we left our table. I approached the cashier just to ask if the manager was available. She called him up and we talked to him. We told him that we were disappointed for the long wait, and to let him know that they have a bad service! I also told him not to set a customer's expectation about their orders to be served. They could have at least let one of their crews inform their customers that there might be a delay or whatever reason. Yet, they failed to do that.
The manager apologized and told us he was actually the one preparing the Chicken Barbeque Combo Meal. Whatever is the reason for the delay, I don't really care, and i wouldn't want to know. Maybe they could not meet the huge demand for their combo meals, since it was lunch time. We just wanted to leave the place. Ugh. Bad service, really. It should be a "first come, first serve" basis! Well.. the manager, he asked for my name and my contact number. I don't know why. maybe to compensate for the inconvenience? Hmm.
There should be a re-training for the crews and for the manager as well. Because a manager can be at fault for the bad service. They should improve their service to serve customers better - paying customers, that is. Hmm.. I could have asked someone from the upper management.
On a positive note, Max's has good foods, and I like their chicken most. The resto is still a great place for dining at a reasonable price. I might still be dining in at Max's, however, what we had experienced left a negative note on our end.
As a blogger, I am just being honest with my experience and reviews. If I like something, I write good positive stuff about it with great excitement. And if I don't like something, I write bad stuffs about it.
You might want to read Hectril's blog. He also has a little something to share. :)

Nature Tripping Weekend
Damn man, I'm hella tired.
But I got to tell you something nice. This morning when I woke up, I watched the pretty sunset. I was standing at the terrace and I noticed that one side of the sky looked like opal and the other side like sea. I went down the seashore and looked up. The other side of the sky looked like a far away ocean of thick green and grey misty water hanging in the sky. I had this image in my head like a memory I could have brought my camera with me when I went to the seashore, anyway it looked like that.
So far, my weekend is great.
+++
I still have a hangover.. I wanted to see Hectril but I'd rather sleep for a while. Maybe we're gonna meet later. And oh, there's a big party at MO2..my friends will be there to party tonight. I'm just not sure if I can go out, I need to ask Hec first. If he says no, then I'd be staying home and hit the sack early. He he he. Sleeping is one of my favorite things. Good thing that's what I'm going to do now.
