18th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2013 Experience

I had a great weekend with Hec - watching the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta together for the first time. :)

Counting the days until Christmas

11 days until my bf is coming home (and my brother's birthday) and 13 days until Christmas, it's also my mom's birthday. Can't wait! So this time in two weeks I will be enjoying my massive holidays!

I remember last year when I was kind of being a Grinch that I felt bad because I was short of budget since I went back to college, so I spent a budgeted money for presents for my family last year. School was sucking my money out of my pocket. Papers and tuition fees were massive.

So this time, I have prepared something for the holidays. I hope my family and friends would be enjoy Christmas and what I have to share with them. Same goes to my boyfriend.

Little Snow White Trick or Treating

So my day was quite busy, had to meet my friends at the mall, and talked about something important.

Anyway, since I don't have much to say.. I just want to share this cute picture of little Snow White trick or treating at the mall. I actually don't know this kid, I just bumped into her at the mall, so I asked if I could take a picture of her. Good thing she's no camera shy. She's very talkative to, she sat beside me and we had a little chit chat. such a sweet little girl.

No Masskara Festival For Me

I am so pissed! My friends and I have planned to go to Masskara Festival in Bacolod this weekend BUT it is not going to happen. We have planned all this 2 months ago, and I even made a 3-day hotel reservation in Bacolod for us. I have called all the hotels I could call that time to make a reservation and even asked my friends in Bacolod to help me look for a place for us to stay - either hotel or pension house. and now that everything is OK, one friend texted me that she cannot make it. Then another friend said he does not want to go if it's only just the two of us. OK fine, friends! You have ruined everything - my time, my excitement, my appointments, and my schedule.

The reason why we are going to Bacolod City for Masskara is to celebrate our 30 years of existence, and our friendship as well. I don't hate them.. I am just so disappointed and pissed right at this moment. The initial plan actually was to have a week stay in Singapore, we planned about this last year, however, my friend just gave birth to baby boy.. so we have decided to just celebrate our thing in Bacolod. But it's not gonna happen.

Anyway, my other circle of friends invited me to come with them for the Masskara Festival this weekend, but I lost my interest. So I am not going. I'm just going to spend my weekend here in my city.

Earth Hour 2010

Tonight at 8:30pm, our home will be out of lights for an hour. Turning off our lights is our vote for Mother Earth.

Also tonight, my friend and I will be at SM City Mall to take part for Earth Hour. There will be a program that will start at 8pm, then the countdown for the switching off of lights will be at 8:30pm-9:30pm. It's our way of showing solidarity with Earth Hour.

Happy Valentine's Day 2010

It's 12:05 am and i still couldn't sleep. My body aches and I couldn't position my body well in bed.

Well anyway, it's another time of the year that I don't have a date for this special day hehehe. It makes me miss my boyfriend more, and I miss going out on a date with him. Anyway, hope everyone will be having a great Valentine!

Iloilo Dinagyang Festival 2010

January 22, 2010, Friday: Fireworks display at SM City parking lot. with me were my friends Don and Dona.




January 23, 2010, Saturday: I left my camera because I was in a hurry to be at the kiosk. we started drinking and eating at the food festival by 8pm.

January 24, 2010, Sunday: Dinagyang competetion. I went to the kiosk around 10 am, so I only took a few photos of the participating tribes. and the same time, we sell Dinagyang souvenirs, and food as part of our marketing course.

and the crowd was crazy, it was unbelievable. thousands of people went off the streets for the food festival, dancing, drinking and such. It was all fun! I really heart Iloilo!

Dinagyang Fever 2010

The Dinagyang fever is on! I'm really in a festive mood - very much excited for this event. This festival is celebrated by the Ilonggos every the 3rd Sunday of January, in honor of Santo Nino. The highlights of the event will start this coming Friday, January 22, 2010. There will be fireworks, food festival, and parties everywhere with big names in the movie and music industry hyping everything. Plus, candidates for the 2010 election will surely show up hehehe. *rolls eyes*

And since I'm a marketing student, our council will hold a few kiosks downtown. We will be selling souvenirs, foods and beverages. No liquors and cigarettes as per advised by the Dinagyang committee. I don't want to expound more on that, because it might complicate things. lol.

I will leave you a few photos I took out of the 18 competing tribes (including a few people, and me hehehe) for the Dinagyang competition. These photos were shot during the Opening Salvo/Street dancing on January 15, 2010. It was raining that time, so I think I only took photos of the 13 tribes.

Merry Christmas 2009

Hey, it's Christmas Day! Yay!



Today is also my mom's birthday, she is turning 60 years old. so it's going to be double celebration. Mom will prepare lunch for the street kids in our area, and in the evening, it's gonna be a family Christmas party with a few friends invited. I'm so super excited to the exchange of gifts and opening of presents. :D

So Merry Christmas everyone. I wish you all have a magical Christmas and may you have all the presents you wanted, all the love you need. :D

MK4-1 Christmas Party 2009

Yesterday was our Christmas party in school. We had fun, lots of food, and exchange of gifts. After which, three of my classmates and I went to Smallville, and had gellato, then went back to school to watch some programs. Anyway, I received a Hello Kitty umbrella and I love it. :)

I won't fancy wearing any costume for this year's Halloween. The school does not have a Halloween party of some sort. Unlike when I was still working.. the companies I work with held a Halloween party.. and I miss it. :p

Family Reunion - Dinner and Videoke

Oh hi Sunday! I woke up noon time and nursing my hangover. Phhbbtt!

Last night was a blast. I had so much fun to be with my family and relatives again. We had dinner and videoke at Club 21, Smallville. Drinks and food were served non-stop. I said goodbye to my diet again last night - what the heck. :p

We took two videoke rooms, one for the adults and one small room for the teens.

Friends Are Getting Married

For year 2009, some relatives and friends are getting married, and some are having a baby. It freaked me out every time I see their Facebook statuses with that.

I even plurked about it.



And last night, while my boyfriend and I were talking over the phone, he told me he might come home in December to attend a wedding. He did not tell me whose wedding, so I asked if it's a relative. Then I asked if it's Rina and her boyfriend because they are getting married this year too. He was like, "you don't know? Tomas and Caren are getting married in December." I was like stunned, because hey, another friend is getting married. I mean, what is with people this year? LOL! *kills self*.

Anyway, Tomas is my boyfriend's best friend, and a good friend of mine too. He's our common friend. Hectril and I were introduced to each other by him. I'm happy they're getting married, because I know the trials they have been through.

The Excited and Happy Bunny

Nothing much of blog worthy going on, but I hate being inactive.. so I am updating. Tee-hee!

I'm getting excited about the upcoming happenings... something I try so hard not to do because sometimes, things don't always go according to what I've planned. But whatever.

In 3 days, it's gonna be our 2nd Year Anniversary. I'm pretty excited.. the bf is here so I'm very much happy. Yesterday we went out on a date, and had so much fun.

It's too hot right now.. unlike me to have em so close huh? So today is a Sunday, nothing much going on, just stayed home listening to music watching movies online.

Earth Day 2009

Mother Earth has been providing us everything we need. Like, food, shelter, and clothing. Today is just right to give back to Mother Earth what she had been providing us.


Let's start by actively thinking about what more we can do, and put that into action.

Earth is all that we have to base ourselves in. So do something worthwhile starting today.

Happy Easter 2009

Happy Easter! Hey, you know what.. I have noticed that Easter is the same as Christmas - commercialized holidays that once held religious. The only difference is that bunnies are cuter than Santa. :p

So how did you spend your holidays? For me, holidays only suck when you have to wake up early in the morning and go to work. But not that bad though, I still get paid double. :p

I never get enough sleep for the past few weeks.. the internet is really an evil thing. hehehe.

On another note: I have a date with my Easter Bunny tomorrow. :p

60 - Earth Hour

I will vote for Earth at 8:30 PM. I will switch off our lights for an hour as my vote, and to also show solidarity with Earth Hour.

This is the first time in Philippine history that people of all ages will take part of switching their lights off as their vote for Earth. And leaving them on is a vote for Global Warming.

29th Birthday Celebration

So.. I celebrated my birthday at home on the 21st of March, though it was not that grand but it went pretty well. Got reunited with relatives and friends, and good food! Some of my friends were not able to make it, but they just sent me presents. Cool stuffs!
